Hey guys, sorry its been a little while. Just haven't really had anything meaningful to say, haha. Not that I do now, but just thought I'd leave a little post so you know i haven't abandoned the blog completely. (Unlike Adison *cough* 3 posts in 6+ months *cough* haha)
Lately I've been fighting through a few different things that I'm not satisfied with in my life, actually quite a few things. Like four pretty major ones. Its been a little bit of a struggle because some things are prohibiting me from dealing with others... difficult to explain as you can tell haha. And I'm just now coming to grips with the fact that staying fresh is so incredibly important. (for those who dont know what that means ask me id be glad to tell you)
For instance, I had a period for like a week and a half, maybe more, where I didn't have my bible at home and I wasn't staying fresh so to speak. Sure I was still talking to God hear and there, but I was running low on spiritual fuel I guess.
This is almost kind of funny cause a couple posts ago I was raving on about how the Bible is bread etc. and in the blink of an eye its been like 2 weeks since I've really had some prime time recieving from his word.
Its difficult. That's all there is to it.
Thats about all I have to spew out right now. On one side of things, I appreatiate struggles/challenges, (reffering to more than what i was just sharing above), cause I know I'm growing and learning a lot through them.
This is a sweet sweeeeeet verse about struggles/difficult times:
Romans 5:3-5
3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

well...you thought you didnt have much to say, but you sure did! I am pretty sure I havent come across those verses yet...but they are REALLLYYY good! I think pretty much every one goes through struggles in there life time. Ya I heard you wrote songs to...I want to hear them...haha.
hm. i definitely know exactly how you are feeling. everytime i take time to sit down and read the bible it is amazing and i get so much out of it. but so often i just don't take that time and it is so frustrating. ha it feels like being in bible college i should have it all together, but trust me it is still just as hard. remember you are never in the battle together, there are always people beside you teaming with you.
I think she meant you're never in the battle alone....just to clarify!
Haha i didnt even notice! thanks sarah. A good word kaitlin!
hey james dont forget about me and my blog you need to check it out Jerusha
Whoa...Yeah...That keeping in the word thing is kind of tough. Have you ever tried to live in a house made of bread? Me neither, but it must be tough. And disgusting. Bread wasn't meant to make houses.
Struggles...Are better when they are over. Things you do during said stuggles have more influence on the outcome, but it's better when you can't do anything to fix it anymore, and you look and see how it is. And the next one can be come out of better. There's lots of goodness. I'll be going all night if I try to list it off.
Like words that begin with C. There is a catastrophic amount...
Hey! Finally an update! That's a super awsome verse, and to be honest, I think a lot of people needed to hear it, as a lot of the comments have been something along the lines of "I know how you feel." But as Kailin said, you're not in it alone! Hang in there! ;)
